GoPro Reset Instructions

⏱️ Estimated Time: 2-3 minutes per camera
1 Scan the QR Code

Point your GoPro camera at the QR code on the front of the camera until you hear a beep.

What to look for:

  • Listen for a confirmation beep from the camera
  • A checkmark (✓) will appear on the screen
  • You'll see the words "Star Stream" displayed
Pro Tip

If you're having trouble seeing the camera screen, disconnect the HDMI cable from the StreamBox temporarily. This will allow the camera to display on its own screen, making it easier to confirm the settings.

2 Power Off the Camera

Turn off the camera by holding down the side button.

Why this matters: This saves the code and settings you just scanned.

3 Repeat for Second Camera

Follow steps 1 and 2 for your second GoPro camera.

4 Restart the StreamBox Pro

Power cycle your StreamBox Pro. It will automatically turn on both cameras.

Please note: The GoPros typically take 5-7 seconds to power on after the StreamBox starts.

Setup Complete! You should now see clear, high-quality images from both cameras.

🔧 Troubleshooting

❓ Camera won't scan the QR code
  • Ensure the QR code is well-lit and in focus
  • Hold the camera steady, about 6-8 inches from the QR code
  • Try cleaning the camera lens
  • Disconnect the HDMI cable to see the camera screen more clearly
❓ No checkmark or "Star Stream" text appears
  • Make sure you heard the beep confirmation
  • Try scanning the QR code again
❓ Cameras won't turn on after restarting StreamBox
  • Wait the full 7-10 seconds for startup
  • Check that all cables are securely connected
  • Verify that you powered off the cameras after scanning (Step 2)
  • Try restarting the StreamBox again
❓ Image quality is still poor
  • Clean the camera lenses with a microfiber cloth
  • Verify cables are properly connected and not damaged
  • Repeat the reset process from Step 1
